The Children’s Museum of the Flambeau Valley in Ladysmith Wisconsin is scheduled to be built on a piece of property formally owned by the State Park Service. The site has a small two story Ranger Station built with a half timber wood front on conventional framing, giving it the appearance of a log cabin. Several metal and concrete buildings and a Fire Watch Tower buildings used by the park service completes the site. The museum will be housed in an 11,000 square foot metal building with a hollywood front giving it the appearance of a log chalet type building.
